No Bake Protein Cookie Recipe

Everybody loves cookies. Unfortunately, they have some issues. First, you have to cook them. And, while it might seem a little ridiculous, the investment of time is simply too much for many people. Especially when you consider the second problem: they aren't exactly good for you. Since cookies, despite their popularity, don't fit into most peoples' definition of a health food, spending the time to make them isn't really appealing. We have for you, however, a recipe that solves both problems. Behold, the no-bake protein cookie.
  • 2 cups old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 scoop Naked Vanilla Protein Powder
  • ½ cup creamy natural peanut butter
  • ½ cup milk (of choice)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ⅛ teaspoon sea salt
Combine the oatmeal and the protein powder in a large bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed. Place the rest of the ingredients in a powerful blender and blend until it forms a thick batter. Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and stir. Chill the batter for 10 minutes in the fridge. In the meantime, cover a cookie sheet in parchment paper. Once the batter is chilled, shape spoonfuls into cookies and place them on the baking sheet. They will be ready to eat, but could be chilled for another hour to firm them up a little more.
